As a couple of electronic music and art lovers living in Belgium, me and my wife had always been on the lookout for unique and immersive festival experiences. When we first heard about Terra Experience a music festival in Morocco, we knew that it was a festival we had to check out. The blend of visual arts, nature, and techno music seemed like the perfect combination, and I was intrigued by the stunning location in Marrakech.
Impressive Lineup and Unique Features
I began doing some research on the event and was blown away by what I found. The lineup of DJs was impressive for Morocco, and I was excited to see performances from some of my favorite artists at this music festival in Morocco. The addition of unique shops and creators, as well as an underground stage for up-and-coming DJs, added even more appeal to the Moroccan music festival.
But it wasn’t just the music and art that caught my attention – the music festival in Morocco also offered a variety of accommodation options, including glamping tents, which seemed like the perfect way to extend my stay and fully immerse myself in the experience. The convenience of a large free parking area and affordable food and drinks also made the decision to attend the Moroccan music festival an easy.
As the date of the festival drew near, I began to plan my first trip to Morocco. I booked my flights and the Glamping Tent, and before I knew it, I was on my way to Marrakech for Terra Experience.
An Immersive Multi-Sensory Experience
On the day of the festival, the sun began to set over the stunning landscape of Marrakech as people made their way to Les Jardins d’Issil, a picturesque venue located just outside the city. The energy of the crowd was electric as they passed through the gates and headed towards the main stage, where DJ OORAAYT was set to kick off the evening with a fiery set.
The main stage was a sight to behold, with intricate designs between the palm tree decorated by lighting and a beast sound system. As the night went on, the lineup only got stronger with performances from ELVA, GLITTER55 which I didn’t know honestly but they moved the crowd! And lastly our preferred RAFAEL CERATO and ANGELOV. The music was intoxicating, and the crowd was fully immersed in the experience. It was clear that this was no ordinary Moroccan music festival – it was a true multi-sensory experience, designed to bring people together and create a sense of human connection.
Unique Shops and Promoting Up-and-Coming Artists
But the music wasn’t the only draw at Terra Experience, The festival also featured a wide variety of unique shops and creators, all offering one-of-a-kind products and designs. Festival-goers were able to peruse the various stalls and discover new and interesting products while taking in the sights and sounds of the main stage.
In addition to this festival in Marrakech also had an underground stage devoted to promoting and helping amateur DJs gain some visibility. This stage provided a platform for up-and-coming artists to showcase their talents and was a true celebration of the underground music scene. With a diverse lineup of artists, the underground stage added another layer of excitement to this music festival.
Delicious Food and Beverages, but Limited Selection
But the festivities didn’t stop there. Throughout the night, festival-goers were able to enjoy delicious barbecue food and affordable drinks. However, late in the night, we noticed that there was a shortage of liquor and only beers were available. This was a bit of a disappointment for those who were hoping to have a more diverse selection of drinks.
Despite these minor issues, the overall atmosphere at the Terra Experience Moroccan music festival was electric and we had an amazing time. The convenience of a large free parking area and a variety of accommodation options allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the festival experience without worrying about logistics.
A Truly Unforgettable Experience
As the night drew to a close and the crowd reluctantly made their way out of the festival grounds, it was clear that the first edition of Terra Experience had been a resounding success. It was a truly unforgettable night, and one that would be talked about for years to come.
But the fun didn’t have to end there. For those who wanted to extend their stay and fully immerse themselves in the festival experience, there were glamping tents available for overnight accommodation. We took advantage of this option and spent the night in a cozy tent, surrounded by the stunning landscape of Marrakech.
In the morning, we woke up to the sound of birds and the sight of the sun rising over the mountains. It was a peaceful and serene way to start the day, and the perfect way to end our amazing experience at Terra Festival.
